If only there was a magic formula to teach cancer victims and their families how to cope with cancer. We looked for such a formula without success when our seven-year-old daughter developed a stage-four malignant muscle tumor on her wrist. One doctor said, "She may only have three months to live." Thankfully, she survived the cancer as well as a year of chemotherapy and six weeks of radiation.

Through that traumatic experience we learned the best coping mechanism is knowledge. Knowing what to expect is, perhaps, the best way to cope with and survive the anxiety and unrelenting stress that accompanies a diagnosis of cancer and the ensuing treatments.

Help For Families Coping With Cancer:

Each year 1.4 million people are diagnosed with cancer. Most choose to go through chemotherapy and related treatments. Few of them have any idea of what to expect. Neither did we when we learned our seven-year-old daughter had a malignant tumor of the muscle (alveolar rahbdomyosarchoma).

My husband and I immediately started looking for a book that simply told us what to expect going through chemotherapy. Finding none, I decided to write one to share our experience. My book, THE FIERY FURNACE OF CANCER A Survival Guide For Families Coping With Cancer, is a simple, easy-to-read manual for families dealing with cancer. It is available on any online bookstore, but we offer help and support to families coping with cancer whether you buy our book or not.

We are available by phone or email if you want personal support. We are not medical experts, but a trip through a year of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery with our daughter gave us considerable insight into what medical professionals call "standard oncology protocol."

You can contact us day or night. Cancer treatment is a 24/7 experience.

Whether you are dealing with cancer
of the breast, lungs, ovaries, prostate, colon or nearly any other kind of cancer, our experience can benefit you. Remember, you don't have to buy Judith's book to get our help.

Footnote:
Our daughter survived her cancer ordeal and  is only weeks away from graduating culinary school.
